Work in Progress 5: Music for Saint Catherine
As I continue to develop the character of Saint Catherine, I turn to all kinds of sources for inspiration. A major source is music. It’s no secret music enables one to easily tap into various emotional states and it’s helped me get into more of a headspace that I think Catherine would live in so I can write about and act as her. Below I’ve compiled a small playlist of my favorite songs for Catherine.
I chose each of these songs because they either reminded me of Saint Catherine’s journey or made me empathize with her emotional state, or at least what I thought she would feel. I’ve begun to have a real connection with this character and I’m close to getting her out of my mind and into the world. Stay tuned.
